Welcome to the Key Club. In order to insure a pleasant experience at the Key Club we would like to offer a few suggestions.
TICKETS AND GUEST LIST
The standard guest list is 10 for support acts, please have the list alphabetized and give this to the BOX OFFICE MANAGER. Once you have checked in with the BOX OFFICE MANAGER you will be given a receipt to show the STAGE MANAGER.
LOAD IN
Unless otherwise specified please arrive one hour prior to your set time. Load in is located in the production lot directly next to the Key Club. The entrance is the first left off of Wetherly Drive (between the Bank of America and the Key Club). Sadly, there isn't ample parking for all the band members. We recommend street parking or one of the adjacent pay lots. Please be advised that if you decide to leave your vehicle in the lot you run the risk of being blocked in until the show is over or even later or being towed should your vehicle be blocking someone else. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
If you have a van and trailer we recommend advance notice and arriving no later than 5pm regardless of your time slot to assure proper parking. We have a special way for you to park.
WRISTBANDS:
Upon your arrival please check in with the stage manager so you can get your wristbands, situate your gear and confirm your set time.
EQUIPMENT:
To ensure a successful show we encourage each band to bring your own gear. If you have any special needs (i.e. iPod, in-ears, sampler, laptop, additional percussion, turntables, etc.) please let us know in advance, and we will be better prepared to accommodate you. Just to play if safe, it would prudent of you to bring any cables, extensions, adaptors, power supplies and any other unique items that are vital to your show.
BACKLINE
The Key Club does not provide backline, please bring all necessary instrumentation.
MERCHANDISE:
There are tables located downstairs near the bathrooms available for you to sell merchandise. Any other special accommodations must be approved in advance.
HOSPITALITY:
2 drink tickets per band member are provided (good for all drinks). Please see the stage manager.
SOUND AND LIGHTS:
The Key Club has an in-house monitor engineer, lighting designer and front of house engineer; however you may bring your own if you have one. Please let us know if you plan on bringing someone in.
MISC. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Please do your best to refrain from throwing ANYTHING (this includes WATER!!! Please try and keep the stage and everyone around you dry) from the stage into the audience. The only obvious exception being T-shirts and guitar picks. If you have CDs that you want to give away either arrange to have them at your merch table or hand them to the crowd. Anything else must be approved in advance. And although it should go without mentioning it, we’re going to anyway: ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THERE TO BE ANY PYRO, FIRE BREATHING OR ANYTHING INVOLVING AN OPEN FLAME ON STAGE. THE ANSWER IS UNEQUIVOCALLY NO.
We look forward to seeing your band. If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to ask.
Thank you,
Key Club Production
