If you were born to rave or simply just like to dance, then come Wednesday… it’s time to join the Adventure Club. Montreal’s coolest dubstep duo, Adventure Club is set to take over the ones and twos.  And believe us, they’ll have you move, jump, and jacking that body in no time. Founded by Christian Srigley and Leighton James, Adventure Club is more than just digital drones with pumped up bass lines. In other words, we’re not talking rave-on ’til the break of dawn light-trip trancecore for those rocking glow-sticks and lollipops.

Adventure Club’s singular dubstep style is darker and more nuanced than the sounds created by your average couple of dude with laptop and an Aphex archive. The two could teach an advanced class in music history and the samples on their sounds, which range from 1950s bee-bop to long hair hardcore rock and roll, culminate in a singular sonic explosion. The two have built a die hard following of card carrying Adventure club members with only 5 tracks, already in heavy rotation for those of serious electronic persuasion.  Wednesday’s show promises to have newcomers to the Club pop-and-locking in no time.
